Changing the world through travel: that’s been our goal since 1990. Sure, call us dreamers (wouldn’t be the first time), but that idea has been at the heart of everything we’ve ever done and has helped us grow into one of the biggest adventure travel companies on the planet. *woot woot*
But, to us, being big is meaningless if it comes at the expense of making someone else feel small. You know what… let’s drop the metaphors and get straight to the point: G Adventures is a social enterprise as much as we are a small group travel company. We’ve been pioneers of community tourism since the day we first headed out into the world 30 years ago. What does that mean? That our tours, created by building meaningful relationships with local communities, directly benefit the people and places we visit.
We’ve always believed travel can help local communities, Indigenous peoples, women, youth — anyone who has traditionally been marginalized or undervalued. Because there's incredible power in being part of something bigger than yourself. Today, our definition of community tourism means that the communities we impact ripples far beyond our destinations. To us, it includes our employees, supplier and agent partners, small business owners, customers, social followers, and travellers just like you.
Because when we all come together, we have the power to realize the full potential of our global community.
When you travel with us, you aren’t traveller #251,468. We think of you as our friend, a part of and contributor to our community, enjoying enriching experiences that give back and help make the world better. After all, you’re not only helping communities abroad, the renewed perspective you bring home can help change your own community as well. So the question is: do you want to change people’s lives through travel, while having the time of your life? If the answer is yes, well...
Our world deserves more you.

Spacious, comfortable, and well adorned – the Amatista is all of this and so much more. Share a room with a travel buddy in a gorgeous twin cabin or be the king (or queen) of your domain in a double. A/C is included in all cabins for maximum comfort while you float down the Amazon River. Expert naturalists
The excursions staff and crews of our riverboats are handpicked for their extensive knowledge of the Amazon River, its people, and its wildlife. Formal lectures and informal chats open up the wonders of this mysterious and fragile ecosystem in a personal and powerful way.
Ready for the adventure of a lifetime? Massive, magnificent, and unforgiving, Antarctica is a continent of superlatives that will leave your mind searching for words to describe it. Each day presents a new discovery, whether you’re cruising through ice-choked waterways, trekking through chattering penguin rookeries, or catching minkes and humpbacks breaching in the pristine waters. The few travellers who are fortunate enough to explore Antarctica’s vast expanses return home forever changed by an experience so awe-inspiring that it reaches to their very core.
Our 54 foot, Kufner Yacht was built in 2016 and refitted in 2020. It features a fully stocked kitchenette, indoor dining and lounging area. Think of it as our polar ship glow-up. Launching for the 2025/2026 season, we have an updated Expedition ship that blends comfort and capability in all the right ways.
Extensively refurbished, it features upgraded engines, refreshed cabins with ensuite bathrooms, and larger social spaces for a perfect mix of slick performance, creature comforts, and that community feel.
And when it’s time to brave the Drake? Its Ice Class 1A technology, upgraded stabilizers, and a modern propulsion system deliver smoother, quieter sailing, and all with a significantly smaller carbon footprint.
With just 128 passengers, we aim to get each guest out on excursions twice a day (weather-permitting) — something larger vessels simply can’t offer. That means more time off ship doing what really matters: being fully immersed in Antarctica’s magic.

Used on our Maldives Dhoni Cruise tour (AFMS & AFAN), this traditional fishing boat is essential to Maldivian identity. The motorized one you’ll sail with us has been modernized and equipped with all the amenities you need on the inside and the characteristic look and feel of the real thing on the outside. It comes ready with snorkelling equipment, basic fishing gear, and room for 8 lucky passengers.
The Galápagos’ incredible natural diversity is the crucible from which Charles Darwin’s earth-shattering theory of evolution sprang. There are species of bird, animal, and plant life here that you simply won’t find anywhere else. Blue-footed boobies, giant tortoises, sea lions, marine iguanas – it’s like a nature documentary you can walk through. Get off the couch and come see it for yourself.
Why the Reina Silvia Voyager?
