    HIGHLIGHTS

    Sea ports and sagas
Your journey starts in Hamburg. Discover this lively port’s maritime heritage, its magnificent museums, and fascinating culture before sailing to Lysefjord, Norway, where you’ll witness some remarkable rock formations, including the iconic Pulpit Rock. Next we sail to Lerwick, the Scottish Shetland Islands town where Scandinavian roots still run deep. Afterwards, we head to Torshavn in the Faroe Islands, with its brightly painted houses and narrow cobbled streets.

Into the Land of Ice and Fire
The colourful east coast town Seyðisfjörður is our first stop in Iceland. Set against a backdrop of mountains and waterfalls, its famous Rainbow Road is the ideal photogenic pitstop. Prepare for an outstanding birdwatching treat in tiny Grimsey, high up on the Arctic Circle. It’s home to millions of birds, including show-stealing puffins. After exploring Iceland’s ‘Northern Capital’ Akureyri, you’ll change pace altogether in the peaceful fishing village of Patreksfjördur.

    Rounding off your epic journey
Sail next to colourful Stykkishólmur, your ticket to natural wonders in the Breidafjordur Bay and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula National Park. In Heimaey, you’ll discover the fascinating history of a people who fought against a volcano and won. End your epic expedition cruise in Iceland’s cosmopolitan capital Reykjavik, where you won’t be far away from geysers, glaciers, hot springs and waterfalls.
